Hiking is a physical activity based on walking in the territory for the purpose of study or leisure, along difficult paths that typically cannot be traveled with conventional means of transport.
Often, deriving the term from the English language, it is also referred to as trekking or hiking. The first term comes from the English verb to trek, which means to walk slowly or even to take a long journey. The second comes from the English verb to hike, which means to walk.

At km 3.7 of the S.P. 23 (4.9 km) we leave the asphalt and enter, on the right, the Rimigliano Nature Reserve: the access is not clearly indicated, so it is important to use the table of km 3.7 of the Principessa as a reference. After passing the wooden gate, we travel 100 m to the picnic area where we turn left onto the dirt road that crosses the Nature Reserve. After about 1 km (6.2 km), at the T-junction, we keep right pedaling on the main track to an area equipped with picnic tables and information panels…
